Questions

Short answers first. If the first sentence does not settle it, the paragraph under it will.

What is BeatArc?

BeatArc generates a whole session of music at once — fifteen minutes that build, hold and resolve — instead of a short loop you repeat.

You choose a shape and a sound. The shape is the arc: where the music rises, how long it stays there, how it lets go. The sound is optional — a genre, a mood, some instruments, a tempo — and anything you leave blank is chosen for you.

How long is a session?

Sessions run from five to sixty minutes, and fifteen is the common choice.

A fifteen-minute session is planned as about eight separate pieces, generated one after another and joined into a single continuous file.

How long does it take to generate?

A fifteen-minute session takes a few minutes to render.

You can close the tab. Generation happens on our side, not in your browser, and the session appears in your library when it is ready — so there is nothing to leave open and nothing to lose.

What do I get at the end?

One MP3 file containing the whole session, playable in the browser or saved to your device.

Not a folder of clips to assemble yourself. The pieces are joined, level-matched and delivered as a single track.

Can I play it offline?

Yes — BeatArc installs to your phone or desktop like an app, and any session you save plays without a connection.

Your library and its history are readable offline too. Generating something new needs a connection; listening to what you already made does not.

How is this different from other AI music tools?

Most generate a short clip and leave you to loop it; BeatArc generates structure across a whole session, so the music goes somewhere.

A loop is the same mood until you stop it. An arc has an opening, a peak and a resolution, and the position of that peak is something you choose rather than something you edit around afterwards.

Can I use it commercially?

Commercial use is not included during the private beta, and a licence tier is planned before general release.

If you are considering BeatArc for client or published work, say so when you request access — it changes what is useful to know from you.

What does it cost right now?

The private beta is free, and nothing on this site takes payment yet.

Pricing is being worked out in the open rather than announced as a surprise. Anyone in the beta will be told what changes before it changes.

How do I get access?

Access is granted by hand, one account at a time, so you sign in and then ask.

That is deliberate rather than a bottleneck we have not got round to removing: generation costs real money per session, and a small, known group is how the product gets useful feedback before it gets scale.
