Music that goes somewhere

BeatArc generates a whole session of music at once — fifteen minutes that build, hold and resolve — instead of a short loop you repeat until you stop it.

Why an arc, not a loop

A loop is one mood held flat until something interrupts it. That is fine for thirty seconds and wrong for an hour — the reason a focus playlist stops working after a while is that nothing in it ever changes.

An arc has an opening, a peak and a resolution, and you choose where the peak sits. The same arc in neo-soul and in ambient peaks in the same place, because the shape is the structure and the sound is separate from it.
